Sequim Lavender Farmers expand year-round programs!

The Sequim Lavender Farmers Association is expanding! We are very excited to announce the development of year-round programs that salute and support the lavender farms in every season!!  Lavender blooms all summer long and our beautiful products are available all year long. The annual Faire is the focus of Sequim Lavender Weekend, but now we have more to offer visitors and local residents throughout the year.

 Tour de Lavender - Saturday-Sunday, August 3-4

A cyclist's dream! A 100k Metric Century ride from Kingston to Sequim on Saturday and to our farms using mostly back roads and the Olympic Discovery Trail on both Saturday and Sunday.. There's also a family ride for all levels through the Sequim Dungeness Valley-nice and flat for pulling children in bike trailers! Seasoned riders can opt to join in the "Ride the Hurricane" on Sunday to make it a Pedal Power Weekend. Complete details at www.tourdelavender.com . Lavender Oil Distillation Celebration - Saturday-Sunday, August 31-Sept. 1

It is time to distill the precious lavender oil. All the farms will have the lavender stills running. Learn about lavender oil and its amazing properties and uses. Fun for the entire family. Don't miss this annual event!

 

Winter Lavender Faire - Saturday, November 30

Start your holiday shopping with some of the most stunning lavender items on the planet! Join us at the first ever Winter Lavender Faire at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, featuring holiday décor, gifts, crafts, food and fun for the whole family. A Gingerbread House Contest will be sponsored by That Takes the Cake! Submerge yourself in the holidays traditions and the wonderful world of the Sequim Lavender Farmers Association's lavender products.Free admission! (Watch for more details as fall approaches.
