Sequim Lavender Farmers Expand Year-Round Programs!
Sequim, WA – The Sequim Lavender Farmers Association is expanding! We are very excited to announce the development of year-round programs that salute and support the lavender farms in every season!! Along with our iconic Sequim Lavender Farm Faire in July, we will have events during peak bloom time, a winter celebration, a spring salute and the, of course, our world-famous Faire in July. Lavender blooms all summer long and our beautiful products are available all year long, so our new activities will also run all year long—and we want you involved!

Sequim Lavender Farm Faire – July 19-21
The Farm Faire -- Sequim lavender farmers once again welcome the world to visit their stunning lavender farms at the annual Sequim Lavender Farm Faire, bringing together 17 years of lavender farming as part of Sequim Lavender Weekend, July 19-21, 2013 The Faire gathers all things lavender with the world-famous Heritage Lavender Farm Tours and the free Lavender Arts & Crafts Faire in the Park at Carrie Blake/Reuse Demonstration Park.
Tour de Lavender – Saturday & Sunday August 3-4
A cyclist’s dream! A 100k Metric Century ride from Kingston to Sequim on Saturday and to our beautiful farms in bloom using mostly back roads and the Olympic Discovery Trail. There’s also a family ride for all levels through the Sequim Dungeness Valley on Saturday and Sunday and with visits to our member farms —nice and flat for pulling children in bike trailers! Seasoned riders can also opt to join in the “Ride the Hurricane” on Sunday to make it a Pedal Power Weekend. Complete details at www.tourdelavender.com.
Lavender Oil Distillation Celebration – August 31-Sept 1
It is time to distill the precious lavender oil. All the farms will have the “lavender stills” running…you must see these. Learn about lavender and lavender oil and its amazing properties and uses—and bring home some of the amazing properties of this unique plant. Fun for the entire family at each of the participating farms—don’t miss this annual event!
